Post Mediaeval engraved posy ring ”Let this present my good intent”. A rare ring, the exterior of the D-shape band intricately engraved with hearts pierced with arrows and flower motifs, the interior inscribed in italic script ”Let this present my good intent”, approximately 3.6mm in width, approximately 2.3g in weight. Tested yellow gold, circa 17th century. UK finger size J.
Accompanied by documentation stating that this piece was found at Owslebury in Hampshire in 2014; reference HAMP-C6B1A5 under the Portable Antiquities Scheme, disclaimed as Treasure under the Treasure Act, reference 2014 T97.
